Surfaces to Painted:

Cement, sand surface, brick work, rough cast concrete blocks, fiber boards and cement paint coated surfaces. Freshly plastered surface must be allowed to cure completely.

The Surface should be sound, Clean, free of loose Particles, dust grease, Chalk, fungus and mould. Remove fungus growth with fungicide bleaching powder solution (2-5%) clean the surface by wire- brushing and wash with water.

Primers:

On highly absorbent or chalky surfaces, apply a coat of master no.1 exterior primer thinned with water (1:2 by volume) as a priming coat to reduce surface porosity.

Method of Application:

Brush or Roller.

Finishing:

Apply 1 coat of master no.1 Exterior primer then apply 2 coats of Master Maxima dry for a minimum of 4 hours between coats.

Surfaces to be Painted:

Cement, sand surfaces, brickwork, rough cast concrete blocks, fiber boards and cement paint coated surfaces.

Surface Preparation:

Newly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure for atleast 3 months prior to painting. Surfaces must be free of loose materials, dust and grease. Previous growth of fungus, algae and moss must be removed. Surfaces previously painted with oil/enamel paint should be cleaned by sanding. Surfaces previously coated with cement paint should be wire-brushed, washed thoroughly with water and allowed to dry. Chalking free surfaces must be ensured before painting.

CAUTION:

Application of putty is not recommended. Cracks should be filled with a cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3.

Primers:

On highly absorbent or chalky surfaces, apply a coat of Master No. 1 Exterior Primer thinned with water (1:2 by volume) as a priming coat to reduce surface porosity.

Finishing:

2 coats of Master Semi Acrylic Emulsion thinned as follows: add 450-550ml of water to 1 liter of Master Semi-Acrylic Emulsion. Horizontal surfaces like sun shades, ledges, etc. require 3 finishing coats for best results. Allow to dry for a minimum 4 to 6 hours between coats.

Exterior Primer is specially formulated with extra binding for any types of weather conditions. It also has anti-fungal property & it also help in increases covering of top coat. It gives good sheen to the top coat. It can be used on new and old constructed walls. It can be also used for texture coatings.

Drying Time

Surface Dry: 2 to 4 hours. Hard Dry: 12 hours

MASTER GUARD is a White Cement Based Wall Putty specially developed as a finish coat to cover unevenness and pinholes in plastered surfaces and to make the walls/ceilings ready for painting. As it is white, it can be treated as a base coat for painting. It is lime-free. It contains minerals, white cement and polymers.

APPLICATION DATA

Dampen the surface to be plastered with clean water. Allow excess water to drain off. Using a steel trowel/blade, apply the above mix to a thickness of about 1-2mm. Level and smoothen the surface. Apply the second coat after the first coat has fully dried and set. The thickness of each coat should not exceed 2mm and total plaster thickness should not exceed 3mm. Smoothen with a steel trowel. Sand paper if so desired.

Surfaces preparation:

Clean loose particles, dirt, grease and traces of foreign material from the surface, if necessary, by using sand paper, or by chipping. For loose plaster areas, remove the defective material and re-plaster the area. For ceilings/walls, which are not even, re-plaster it to make them even. Fill up any cracks in base plaster.
